Chicago!
We are in Chicago. We drove all the way across Iowa and into Illinois. We found our way to the loop and drove around comparing hotel prices and now we are at a hotel by the Water Tower off Michigan Avenue. Tomorrow we will shop and go to the Art Institute. And I�ll meet Kevin G., writer of reviews for h2so4.
We were so excited to be in a town with menus featuring more than hamburgers and grilled cheese that we went to the first expensive place we saw (across the street from our hotel). It happened to be Wine Wednesday, meaning that all wine-by-the-glass was half off. We took full advantage of that deal and for that reason that is all I�ll say for now. I know better than to post anything written while drunk! But I�ve posted the missing entries from days past. Here's a photo of a room from the Frank Lloyd Wright house we stopped to see in Iowa.
The good news (for us): since we raced across South Dakota and Iowa, we get to stay in Chicago for two days, which means NO DRIVING TOMORROW. More soon.
