You know how cats have that magical space on their back where, if you scratch them there, they'll start licking their chests? A strange phenomenon, yes. But when Marilyn was staying with me recently, and I was demonstrating this property with the help of Hans Blix (the cat, not the U.N. Weapons Inspector), she laughed very very hard. Because Hans Blix not only licks his chest, he bobs his head up and down with an enthusiasm one could really only call headbanging.
So Marilyn has declared that Hans Blix is a headbanger.
I do know that he is at least a rocker. For instance, his favorite album is Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti. Indeed, today he and I listened contentedly to the whole 12,000 minutes of In My Time Of Dying, and then listened to it again. He is, however, way over Kashmir. And he is not at all sure that Guns 'n' Roses count as a rock band. Indeed, he suspects they might actually be some kind of performance art.
